Thanks to a fantastic grant opportunity from the Columbia Basin Trust, the FTA is able to hire for five, temporary summer positions, to work on our 2021 Trail Maintenance Program.
ABOUT:
The trail network in Fernie, BC is one of the biggest assets in our community. The FTA is looking to hire a motivated Trail Crew Supervisor, along with four Crew members, to work on the 2021 Trail Maintenance Program.
TRAIL CREW SUPERVISOR:
This position will work closely with our FTA Trails Manager, assisting in day-to-day operations, while leading a crew of up to four people. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, hard-working and comfortable leading a team of individuals; with trail building experience and knowledge of the Fernie trail network and area.

We are also looking for a team of up to four keen, hard working people, to assist the Trail Crew Supervisor with the 2021 Trail Maintenance Program. Interested individuals need to be enthusiastic about the Fernie trail network, be happy to work as part of a team, and willing to learn.
