Volunteer with the Fernie Trails Alliance
The philosophy of the Fernie Trails Alliance is centred on volunteerism. Our member clubs rely exclusively on volunteers to offer not only fantastic programming for the community, but also to keep our trail infrastructure in top shape and help us work on our significant project list every year.
Volunteer Tracking App
We now have an App for tracking volunteer hours. Tracking allows us to track trail work and allows volunteers to log hours towards earning a discount at GearHub (more details below).
Current Volunteer Opportunities:
P9 Mountain Bike Race – September 9th
Set-up, Timing, Sign-In, First Aid, Tear-down, BBQ, Merch, Beer tent. The event will be hosted at the Elk Valley Nordic Centre. Timing roles will need to get out on course either at the start & finish or the start of the descent. More details on the event can be found here.
Steep n’ Deep XC & Fernie Femmduro – September 25th-27th
Steep n’ Deep XC and Femmduro are organized by Anything Goes Event Series (AGES). The FTA is looking for Beer Garden volunteers to support the fundraiser for the trails.
