P9 Mountain Bike Race
The Annual P9 Mountain Bike Race returns on Wednesday, September 9th 2026!
Come out and test yourself on the classic Fernie black diamond trail. We’ll be honest, the P9 climb is a real grunt of an up, but you’ll be rewarded with some top-tier singletrack on the way down. Check out the P9 trail on Trailforks.
We’ll be timing the up, down, and overall times, so whether you’re a speedy XC climber, a DH’er, or an all-rounder, there’s a category for you! The event will be followed by a social BBQ, beverages, and casual awards at the Elk Valley Nordic Centre.
Date: September 9th, 2026
Time: Race starts at 6pm. Plate pick up 5:00pm – 5:30pm
Location: Meet at the Fernie Nordic Centre.
Registration Fee: Early-Bird $15.00 | Regular Fee Starting August 23rd $25.00
New this Year! Option to add a T-shirt for $20, otherwise T-shirt is NOT included
Entry includes race timing, BBQ and a post-race drink ticket – please bring your own cup for beer!
