2024 Summer Solstice Ride for Mental Health

The Elk Valley Suicide Task Force (EVSTF) and the Fernie Trail Alliance are proud to host the Fifth Annual Summer Solstice Ride for Mental Health in Fernie!

This year we continue to focus on community, connection and inclusivity. There will be a Mental Health Hub set up at Station Square for the day with all riding stages starting there and activities hosted throughout the day.

Route start times:

• Stage 1: 5:15am (Swine Flu) lead by Ski Base
• Stage 2 9:00am (Provincial Park) lead by Gear Hub
• Stage 3 12:00pm (Ridgemont) lead by The Guides Hut
• Stage 4 2:00pm (Dyke Loop) lead by Cycling Without Age & Gravel Ride lead by Osso Training
• Stage 5 4:30pm Live Music and Kids Mini Loop with bike decorating Straightline to lead kids mini loop Band: Relief Committee
• Stage 6 7:00pm (Montane Hut) lead by EVSTF

REGISTER BEFORE JUNE 22ND TO BE ENTERED INTO A PRIZE DRAW

With five possible riding stages, choose to ride them all or select what sounds best for you! The first stage, “The Sunrise”, begins at 5:15 am and the final stage, “The Sunset” begins at 7:00 pm. And if riding your bike doesn’t appeal to you, join us for live music in the afternoon where we will be having a kids mini loop and bike decorating will be available.

We can’t wait to see all the riders out on Saturday June 22 supporting mental health, community, and connection in our beautiful home!
