2 Billion Trees Project Planting Party
October 15th | 5:30pm
We’re taking part in Canada’s 2 Billion Trees Project, which aims to take a significant step towards tackling the dual crises of climate change and biodiversity loss. The goal of 2 Billion Trees is to capture carbon to reduce greenhouse gas emission, enhance biodiversity and improve human wellbeing.
The FTA, with support from the Trans Canada Trail (TCT), will be planting over 600 trees along the TCT/ Coal Creek Heritage Trail.
If you want to lend a hand, join us on October 15th to get these seedlings planted!
Meet at River Road Extension Parking Lot at 5:30pm to grabs trees and tools.
