Mount Fernie Provincial Park Project Spring Update

BC Parks will be continuing with the project this spring. Contractors and equipment will be in the park beginning April 1st and will work until May long weekend. Works will halt for the summer and resume in the fall. Upgrades to the Mt. Fernie Park road including widening the section of road through the campground and raising the road elevation at the Stove Creek crossing will be undertaken over the next month and will result in disruption to traffic flow.

Winter Grooming on Mount Proctor Trails

We have received permission from private land owners and Crown to groom Dairy Run and Lower Swine Flu for winter trail use. This grooming will be weather dependent and occur likely on Mondays. Please note we have been given an exemption from Crown to use a sled on non-motorized trails to groom this area.

Please find attached a map of the grooming area. You can follow us on Facebook for current grooming information. Signage will be posted when grooming is occuring.
